Commerce minister censures Iranian companies for low productivity

TEHRAN – The commerce minister criticized the low level of Iranian companies’ productivity in the second session of Board of Representatives of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines (ICCIM) on Wednesday.

Massud Mirkazemi added that Iran has been a member of Asian Productivity Organization (APO) since 1960, however saying, “We still lack a powerful productivity organization in private or state-owned sectors.” He said that one of the approaches to proper distribution of revenues and good economy as a result is to establish cooperatives, adding the cooperatives could play a great role in the economic growth.
